This custom residence set into the hillside near the Arizona Biltmore, is a sophisticated study in proportion and balance from the monumental front door with its off-center pivot to the mitered corner glass windows, everything is integrally designed.

A major challenge was the home's location. The 12,800 square foot house integrated into a steep in-fill lot right below the Wrigley Mansion, a view which is framed by clerestory windows. The challenge included developing views, as well as creating shelter from homes clustered nearby at street level. The house also had to blend with the rocky hillside and with the lush Biltmore tradition in front. Using the property to its fullest advantage, the home utilized the lowest street side elevation for the entry and privacy walls.
