The programming and conceptual planning for the new spa was centered around many dominant influences. One of the major influences is that the most recent spas to be added in the Phoenix metropolitan area as well as other resort communities have about exhausted the "more and bigger is better" approach. It was important to take advantage of the existing character and topography of the Hyatt Regency Resort while creating a dramatic experience at the spa.
