Paradise Valley Country Club
Paradise Valley, AZ
60,000 s.f.
The uniqueness of the Paradise Valley Country
Club project was the depth to which the
architectural effort had to accommodate the dual
requirements that the character and style be old,
authentic, residential Arizona, yet function with
commercial durability and accommodate the new ideas
and usages of 1,000 members and their families. To
honor the past and anticipate the future equally.
The structure had to serve as an accurate expression of the value system of it's members.
Spacious and accommodating, but not big. Human
scale. Exquisite attention paid to details.
The total site plan allowed maximum optimization of the spectacular views for nearly every front of house function from dining rooms to the swimming pool to the fitness center to the Men's and Women's grilles. Upon completion of the project, the overwhelming feeling is that the collaborative effort to design and construct this unique 60,000 s.f. clubhouse was as satisfying as the end result.
