The client planned to develop medical offices on land zoned for one-acre residential use. The complex as shown on the site plan includes 58,800 square feet in a grouping of six buildings. Four buildings are linked by six concrete-columned entry features and are centered around a landscaped courtyard. Irregular building and roof shapes were designed to relate the complex to the scale of the adjacent residential neighborhood. Tinted glass openings are recessed with broad overhanging eaves. The varying plan shapes provide for both individuality and flexibility for each tenant use.
