Marana has historically been a quiet farming community with a small population that has grown to approximately 20,000 people over the past decade. In order to address future development, Swaback Partners is preparing a road map for growth that calls for a new mixed-use urban village core that will encourage higher density housing, commercial, office and retail use, along with civic and governmental services. The mixed –use town center will provide a new identity for the community and will act as a catalyst for the quality and character of future development.
