The 17 acre park is designed to function both as a major recreation center and as a key element in the regional flood control program. The major feature of the park is its Aquatic and Fitness Center. The Center includes community-use rooms for dance classes, aerobic exercises, gymnastics, judo and weight training. A multipurpose room is provided for crafts, cooking, art classes, as well as a variety of youth and community group meetings.
